First Edition LiteWeight Glass Cleaner

I would not call anything the best windscreen glass cleaner after one use, but this has been one of the better ones I have tried for that greasy film that builds up over time. The First Edition LiteWeight Glass Cleaner left the windshield looking genuinely clear, not just freshly wiped. I have also used it on the sunroof and had the same clean finish there.

I have tried more than one streak free glass cleaner for cars and still ended up finding marks when the light hit the windshield. This one gave me a more even finish. I followed the rinse and dry steps and did not have to keep polishing the same area afterward. That alone made it worth keeping in my detailing kit.

I used to keep a basic glass cleaning sponge with my wash supplies, but it was awkward on the larger sections of the windshield. The First Edition LiteWeight Glass Cleaner is easier to hold and gives me better reach. I also like not having to stop and spray more cleaner every few seconds because the solution is already in the tool.

The First Edition LiteWeight Glass Cleaner has become my go-to car glass cleaning tool mainly because of the longer shape. I can reach the middle of the windshield and most of the sunroof without moving around as much. The grip also feels more natural than holding a loose sponge, especially when the glass is wet.

My old windscreen glass cleaner looked fine until I drove into direct sunlight, then every little streak showed up. I had a cleaner finish with the First Edition LiteWeight Glass Cleaner. It took care of the oily-looking layer on the outside of the glass and, after drying it properly, I was not seeing the same patchy marks in bright light.
